Hounslow Council

I observed a traffic warden writing out a ticket at 11.50am on a deserted street outside Chiswick Park when parking restrictions were due to end in 10 minutes at 12pm. It’s really nice to see that Hounslow Council has got its priorities right in these contagious times when public cooperation is vital.

My mailbox is not overflowing with parking concerns at present - other things predominate - but parking complaints are split 50/50 between those who say enforcement is over-zealous and those who ask why enforcement is so feeble when the correspondent has paid for a permit and has trouble parking.
