Eggs

No eggs in Sainsbury's still. Who is stockpiling them and why? They have a shelf life unlike the other hoarders' favourites of rice, pasta and tinned tomatoes. Or perhaps people are having the full English every day.

ALDI - had absolutely everything they normally have, also social distancing inside and out, but priority for NHS staff, rightly so.

There's a shortage of eggs in Sweden (though plenty of ham).https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-mX9T2qyIQF.U.N.E.X?

Yes Carl, Mackens are great and I went there this morning at 6.30 and they kindly served me, obviously took pity on an old gal 😉. I bought Pork, Lamb, Venison and Chicken Livers- beautifully and well stocked and lively banter thrown in for free - what's not to like ? A great shop.

Just went into my corner shop and asked for eggs.  They were being kept behind the counter and just put in with my shopping. A basic box of 6 size like Sainsburys value range. When I asked how much they were I was told £3.00.  No price on them. Why are these shops taking the risk of being known as money grabbing in this time of great stress for everyone.

Ken the butchers has eggs and the local cornershop on Thames Road gets more in quite regularly too.
