Food Shops supplies

How busy are supermarkets?  will we queue if we go out?  Tend to use Sainsbury’s RichmondAre there better time to visit for stock and queues. Are shelves still empty.  We have managed to stay at home but do need a fairly hefty shop now.

I have kept away from the high road for quite a long time- so need to stock up shortly- would be great full to know how Chiswick is also managing

Nipped into Waitrose (after a five-minute wait outside) on the High Road earlier. Stock-wise: 8/10. All pretty civilised. Sainsbury's late last week pretty good too. A queue to get in (via the car park entrance only) and the majority now 'get' social distancing. Shortages of the usual suspects, but otherwise 7/10.Aldi (online) running very low on wine. Gulp (NPI).

Hi Sean
The Iranian and Turkish supermarkets on King Street are busy but well socked.

Sainsburys is pretty fully stcked including eggs and bog roll. Its all pretty back to normal but you have to queue up from the back entrance as main entrance s closed. We queued saturday and it went all the way around to near the barriers for entry to the car park. But it took around 15 mins max to get in. Someone who went this morning said it had hardly no queue at around 11am.PLEASE NOTEThey are now changing entry from two to one, that allso means they dont want groups of two walking the isles which makes it tight for others.I would imagine this does not apply to a single parent and a child. So be warned if you intend to shop in Sainsburys as two for you wont be aloud in as two and you cant shop as two.

No problemJust to say that i would not chance eggs atleast being on the shelve for a late shop but given the number of eggs i see on saturday and the way people have clamed down,i would think its not a issue but worth taking note all the same
