Visited the store at 8am this morning. Single entry on the High Road only. Separate line for vulnerable etc. and everyone entering greeted by staff at the door. Shelves for fresh fruit and veg well stocked and also ready made food. Lots of bread, eggs and dairy. On my list of 10 items, only arborio rice missing. All tills open and all in all a very civilised experience. Atmosphere calm and the staff jolly as they continued to stack shelves. Thanked the staff at the door as I left and was presented with a (mother’s day) bouquet of flowers.Walked passed the flower stall in front of Pain Quotidian and Alf told me all the flowers were half price on a Monday. There was a good variety so I bought some more and now home has food, beautiful flowers and the sun is shining.
