Online support groups?

Are there any online suport groups for vulnerable and isolated people? Asking for neighbour who can't go out or have visitors due to numerous underlying health conditions including COPD. Have been to get her meds and chat when outside but still leaves a lot of time she's home alone.

I wonder if that one that meets on Mondays at Bedford Corner might be doing something online instead?Also there is an Ealing COVID Facebook group, not sure if there is one for Hounslow too but worth a look. Many streets (including mine) have set up WhatsApp groups for the street where we look out for and shop if required for elderly/vulnerable neighbours.  There is info about this on the Ealing Facebook group.

ChiswickCovid19 is on Facebook. This fantastic group was formed this week by excellent people wfh using their professional skills to resolve local community needs as a result of the Coronavirus. It's super imprrssive!Please take a look and see if you can do an errand for someone in your street, pick up a prescription or telephone an isolated person down the road.

I live in Rusthall Avenue, W4 and together with a group of other residents have set up the Rusthall Avenue Covid-19 Emergency Support Group to help the elderly and those self-isolating with nobody else to help them.  I would urge every street to do the same so that everyone has a local number to call in the case of urgent need.  For more information please contact me on Nadia@laquila.co.uk or 07802703858.
