Virus

I am not sure if my original message got through! I am happy to help anyone in the Chiswick area who needs assistance with shoppung etc during this virus period. I have an up to date DBS and professionally I work as a carer and journalust. Obviously I have to look after my own health and wellbeing but I am happybto do this on a voluntary badis. Well done Sarah and there do appear to be many genuine people like her willing to volunteer to help.However, a word of warning. There have already been a number of cases of people joining Facebook groups set up to help people in isolation who have then gone on to commit fraud on the people they are supposed to help. It's been said that 98% of the people who sign up are doing it because of genuinely good intentions, 1% are doing it to show how virtuous they are and would continue to visit elderly people even if they had symptoms and 1% are crooks. The best thing to do is go to a local voluntary organisation or Church and ask them if there is anything you can do.
