Fat Boys Edensor Rd is back.  Hurray!

The previous proprietor and menu are back.  Great news in my view.

Yes, Hussain has returned. He will be doing same menu he does at Strand cafe. Just daytimes for now to pick business back up and he will be doing evening Thai food in a couple of months... so he told me 😁

What is happening at the Strand cafe? Is it staying the same or changing management/menu? Love the food and the walk down there along the river but will happily change our habits for some of their dishes!

Really great news that we shall be able to have that wonderful Thai food for lunch in Edensor Road. How unfortunate that it is happening when this awful and disruptive Covid 19 Virus is starting here.  I hope Hussain can hang on and survive for the next weeks/months. Maybe the younger folk can support him, we old vulnerables will have to wait before venturing out.

Went to fat boys on Sunday with family just like old times except for the lack of customers. Many people probably don't know its changed hands. What with today's news about not to go to pubs etc. Not going to help Hussain build this business up in the next month or two. However if you do go the menu is very familiar thankfully.

If places are not crowded we will eat out yet the most crowded places at the moment are the supermarkets which we have to visit, crazy or what.
