Just had reports from two friends who arle driving to the ski destinationsThey have both turned round are on way home. Both have received emails from Zermatt and Mayerhofen saying all hotels closing.

I am in the Austrian Tyrol. The season ends a month early this Sunday. All hotels are being forced to close. The Tyrolean authorities have done this because they do not have the capacity to treat ski tourists for Coronavirus in addition to the local population. Naturally it is very disappointing for the local businesses.
