Nectar points question

When sainsburys offer certain points on a product for a week are those points on offer for one purchase or no limit. I ask this as i noticed an item where the points on offer for this product for are worth 5p more than the cost of the item.

No idea Julian but today, out of the blue, got a new nectar card and saying I had to download an app to use it to get special offers.  Don’t know if this is a replacement or something new altogether.I will ask when I go to Sainsbury tomorrow.

Elizabeth,The app is an alternative to the card but is an additional option you can choose to download or not.You scan your card within the app and it then works from within your wallet on the phone. The app gives you offers within the app as extras and apart from scanning the till with the app rather than the card it not only tells you your points but the ammount in pounds and pence they are worth. To be honest each week i open the offers and just accept all. If they happen to be part of my shop all the better i suppose.

Offers can also be viewed and accepted from nectar.com website on a PC.  Offers apply to one purchase only and are valid for 8 days.
