Hoxton Comes to Northfield's Avenue

Mooch is a stylish new gift shop which opens Saturday

You need never worry about where to get a present for me (!) ever again.

Mooch - opening in the former Darch and Duff shop on Northfield's Avenue - has a splendid array of unique and beautifully designed items for men, women and children.

I was invited to have a sneak preview last night and it wasn't just the cava and cake that helped impress.

There's some amazing jewellery (I've got my eyes on several pieces already), localised prints, candles, soaps, cards, books and much more besides.

Talented owners, Sandra O' Connoll and Evelyn O' Flaherty, have evidently got a real flair for art and design and have managed to turn this corner of the Avenue into a really stylish shop - one which wouldn't be out of place in Hoxton.

It opens on Saturday (28th May) but here's a glimpse of just some of the lovely things inside.
