Alice - Emergency Appeal Day At Ealing Broadway

Missing People charity working with family of Alice Gross

Volunteers from the charity Missing People, will be holding an Emergency Appeal Day at Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre on Thursday 4 September to help find 14 year old Alice Gross, who went missing from her home in Hanwell, last Thursday.

The charity, which has been working closely with Alice’s family and the police, has put a call out for volunteers from Ealing who are willing to help raise awareness of her disappearance. Volunteers will be asked to show posters appealing for information about Alice’s whereabouts to members of the public and asking them to sign up for digital copies of the appeal to share with friends and colleagues.

Missing People’s Regional Manager, Josie Allan said:

“If your child went missing wouldn’t you want the world to stop and look for them? There is a great deal of concern for Alice so we would be very grateful for anyone who can help bring her to safety. If anyone has any information about Alice, we would encourage them to contact us on our helpline, 116 000 - it’s free, 24 hour and confidential”

You can also help raise awareness of Alice by downloading her appeal poster at www.missingpeople.org.uk/alicegross and following us on Twitter (www.twitter.com/missingpeople) and Facebook (www.facebook.com/missingpeople.uk) .

Alice Gross, from Hanwell was last seen wearing blue jeans, a green lacy cardigan and blue Vans shoes.

Anyone wanting to volunteer is encouraged to contact Josie Allan at Josie.allan@missingpeople.org.uk or by calling 07595 200 646.
