Local land fetches over 3 times its valuation
Chiswick real estate exceeds all expectations at auction
An unremarkable piece of Chiswick real estate reached more than three times its guide price at auction earlier this month.
Auctioneers Colliers Cre had valued the small rectangular area (pictured above) at £300,000. However at the auction on 12th December 2005, it fetched a staggering £1,055,000.
The land is situated in Prince of Wales Terrace just off the Chiswick High Road close to Linden Gardens and Devonshire Road. It was sold as a freehold site for development.
