Hockey result : PHC Chiswick 3 British Airways 0
PHC Chiswick started their first game back after the Christmas break well and showed their intention to carry on where they left off in December by beating British Airways 3-0 at the Linford Christie Stadium.
Goals in the first half from top scorer Nayan Maken, defender Mitch Jamieson and forward Dan Hall didn’t reflect the amount of procession Chiswick had and the score could have been 5-0 at half time, but for some better finishing.
Chiswick outplayed BA for long periods though failed to convert numerous chances in the second half.
PHC have trained hard during the Christmas break with some indoor hockey and fitness sessions but will need to concentrate for longer periods in the coming weeks if they are to maintain their lead at the top of the league.
Chiswick play Staines in a tough away game on Saturday and will be looking to keep up the run of good results.
