Objections delay West Chiswick CPZ

The proposed Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) for West Chiswick will need to return before Councillors for a final decision after eleven objections and comments were received to the Statutory Traffic Order in December. The proposed parking zone, which covers a large area of West Chiswick around the Chiswick Business Park, cannot be implemented until Councillors have addressed the objections and comments.

The Chiswick Area Planning Committee, which meets around every six weeks, will be expected to review the comments to the CPZ Traffic Order at its February meeting.

If Councillors decide to approve the parking zone, it will be implemented during summer 2003.
