With all the traditional fun of the fair on Turnham Green
The William Hogarth School in Chiswick is holding their 'Summer Spectacular' summer fair on Saturday 27th June, from 12 noon to 4pm, on Turnham Green.
The fair, which is free to enter, will feature traditional fairground rides as well as refreshments, games and also many school run and local craft stalls.
There will be plenty to entertain the children, including face painting, beat the goalie, hook a duck, The Little gym and a supervised bouncy castle. Adults will be equally entertained by the live music, a chance to win on the tombola, a barbeque, a Pimms and beer tent, Starbucks coffee and a salad bar run by Sams Brasserie.
This year's raffle is bigger and better than ever. Dozens of prizes include family days out, luxury gifts, health and beauty packages and dinner in many of Chiswick's restaurants. First prize is 'A Trial Flight' helicopter lesson kindly donated by Heli Air with the winner handling the controls and flying the helicopter themselves! Tickets will be available from the school and at the Fair itself.
The aim of the fair is to raise money to fund some much-needed refurbishment of the children's playground; to improve the school's links with the local community; and last (but not least) to organise a hugely enjoyable day for the children of the school and others in the local community.
"The aim is to create a great outdoor learning and imaginative play area for our children", says Mrs Driscoll, Head of The William Hogarth School.
