St Nicholas Church in Chiswick will host an afternoon of chamber music on Sunday 19 April at 3pm, featuring three acclaimed young musicians whose international careers are rapidly gaining attention.

The programme brings together violinist Doris Kuo, cellist Melody Lin, and pianist Siyu Sun for a performance of Frank Bridge’s Phantasie in C minor and Shostakovich’s Piano Trio No. 2 in E minor, Op. 67 — two emotionally rich works that showcase the expressive power of the piano trio.

All three performers have strong ties to London’s musical life. Siyu Sun, is an award-winning New Zealand pianist, who has appeared as a soloist with major orchestras and performed in leading concert halls across the UK and abroad. Doris Kuo, is a New Zealand-born violinist of Taiwanese heritage, who has performed widely in the UK and Germany and is active in chamber music and educational projects. Melody Lin, is a prize-winning cellist, performs regularly at major London venues and works with orchestras including the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and The Hallé.

Tickets are £10 on the door (students £5), with an optional tea and cake reception afterwards for £5. All proceeds support emerging young musicians at St Nicholas Church.

The concert takes place at St Nicholas Church, Church Street, Chiswick, W4 2PJ.
