This December, the St Michael’s Players invite audiences to kick off the festive season with its ‘world-famous’ pantomime, Snow White by Ben Crocker. Packed with laughter, music, and magical mayhem, this year’s production promises a fresh twist on the classic fairy tale, delivered with the company’s signature wit and warmth.

The story follows a beautiful princess on the cusp of adulthood, whose jealous stepmother will stop at nothing to remain the fairest in the land. As the Queen’s wicked plans unfold, she enlists the help of bumbling woodsmen Bogwort and Stinkwort. But Snow White may yet be saved by an unlikely alliance: a trainee good witch named Ditsy, a rumbustious mother called Dolly Dumpling, and a mysterious multi-identified detective. Meanwhile, supergroup The Seven are on hand to protect her, and Prince Frederick might just be handsome enough to win her heart—if he can find her in time.

The production features a cast of local performers:

  • Cecilia Coleshaw (Elton)
  • Chris Jones (Ozzy)
  • Helen Morgan (Madge)
  • Sue Darrieulat (Cher)
  • James Morgan (Freddie)
  • Vikki Belcher (Elvis)
  • Sally Tillson (Liam)
  • Arabella Harcourt-Cooze (Queen)
  • Rebecca Arrigoni (Snow White)
  • Guy Fairbank (Oswold)
  • Alison Du Cane (Speak True)
  • Tony Traxler (Dolly)
  • Mo Al-Rawi (Mike Peavis)
  • Paul Smith (Prince)
  • Oscar Fieldman (Simon Bowell)
  • David Burles (Wonderballs/Hercule Clouseau)
  • Elizabeth Ollier (Bogwort)
  • Ann Forshaw (Stinkwort)
  • Vikki Hoare (Ditsy)

Supporting the cast are the Chorus (Sarah Birtles, Tracey Logan, Richard Logan, Audrey Smith) and Choir (Ellie Hopkins, Kay Porter, Jo Harry, Andrew Clarke, Jemima Tillson), all under the musical direction of Nick Lawrence. A live band will accompany the show, adding festive flair and theatrical sparkle.

Performances will take place from Tuesday 9 to Saturday 13 December, with evening shows at 7:45pm and a Saturday matinee at 4:00pm. Doors open 30 minutes before curtain. Tickets are on sale now and start at £8 in advance (£14 on the door), and can be booked via www.stmichaelsplayers.org.

Audiences are encouraged to book early, as last year’s overwhelming demand led to a full house at every performance. Refunds are available up to 24 hours before the show, and returned tickets are automatically re-listed for resale so opt out of ticket insurance which is provided by a third party. If all else fails, hopeful attendees may try their luck in the foyer for last-minute returns.

For those looking to make a night of it, The Copper Cow restaurant is offering a special pre-theatre menu on all show nights. The two-plate meal is priced at £19 per person (excluding drinks) and must be booked in advance by calling 020 8742 8545 and mentioning the pantomime.

St. Michael's Players is one of the longest established drama groups in London. It has been staging plays in West London since 1949. In a good year it will present two full length performances in the Spring and the Autumn, a one-act play in the Summer and its famous panto at Christmas.
