St. Michael's Players rehearsing for a previous production
June 1, 2025
St Michael’s Players is to perform a series of short plays which have been written and directed by its members.
It has teamed up with Bite-Size, a Brighton-based group which has been staging short plays at the Edinburgh Fringe, and in Brighton and London for many years.
St. Michael’s Players says, “We’re very excited to be working with them, and even more thrilled as it’s given us a chance for some of our members to try their hand at directing for the first time.”
The plays are to be performed from Wednesday 2 July to Saturday 5 July starting at 7:45pm.
Among the selections there’s a kidnap with a twist, a ménage-à-trois with added bite, a couple obsessed with the 1940s, an interpreter caught up in a war of words, and a busy blind date.
Each play lasts about 10 minutes long and may contain strong language and adult themes. They will be staged in 'Cabaret' style, with tables and chairs for the audience who can purchase drinks from a well-stocked bar.
Tickets from £10. To book, visit www.stmichaelsplayers.org
