This June the longest running musical of the 1950s, ‘Salad Days’, steps out into the open air as St Michael’s Players celebrates their 70th Anniversary.

The show follows a young couple fresh from university, seeking to find their place in life and work. They encounter a colourful array of characters, including a mysterious tramp who loans them a magical piano which, when played, makes anyone in the vicinity spontaneously dance! Further exploits ensue in an Egyptian themed nightclub and aboard a flying saucer. All the while the dour Minister of Pleasures and Pastimes seeks to put an end to all this gleeful enjoyment.

If you would like to be a part of this show and for further information on audition pieces and character breakdowns get in touch with producer Fleur de Henrie Pearce on stmichaelsplayerschiswickw4@gmail.com.

As part of the audition you will be asked to perform a pre-prepared song from the show, an excerpt from the script (based on the character you are auditioning for) and a short fun dance number which you will learn on the day.
