Pick up a bargain at charity fundraising event on Burlington Lane

St Mary’s Convent and Nursing Home is holding a fundraising Christmas Sale on Saturday 3 November from 2pm to 4pm.

All are welcome to the event which takes place from 2pm to 4pm and promises lots of gifts and refreshments.

The home at, Burlington Lane, W4 2QE and it has been looking after the most vulnerable members of society, the aged and infirm, since 1910.

Actively supported by Florence Nightingale in its early years, the convent and hospital were built around 1896 to give residents respite from the soot and dust of the inner city. St. Mary's is today a thriving care community, with 60 people aged between 65 and 102 living in private en-suite rooms, cared for by a small group of Sisters and over 100 staff.
