Whether you are a great opera buff or a complete newcomer to the genre, Barry Jobling will educate and entertain you with his infectious enthusiasm.
You will gain insight into operas being performed at Covent Garden and other venues, as well as operas of which there are fine recordings deserving wider recognition. The lectures are illustrated with vintage and modern recordings. Barry also plays the piano and sings to highlight certain themes.

All lectures start at 2.00pm sharp and will end at 4.15pm. Simply turn up and pay at the door. Lectures take place at Michael Room, St Michael and All Angels Parish Hall, Priory Avenue, W4 1TX. The cost is £8 per lecture. Coffee/tea and biscuits included.
