W4's answer to Glastonbury is back and bigger than ever
groveSTOCK, Chiswick’s answer to Glastonbury, is to rock West London on Saturday June 19th in its fifth and biggest ever year.
Held in the verdant vicarage gardens of St. Paul’s Church Grove Park (corner of Hartington Road and Grove Park Road, W4), the festival will see a confluence of professional bands on the main stage and brilliantly talented children in the groveFACTOR competition while adults spar for fame in Chiswick’s Got Talent.
This year's Chiswick’s Got Talent competition will be judged by:
Maria Kempinska - managing director jongleurs - Since Maria opened her first comedy club in 1983, she’s proved that one should never underestimate the power of humour. Hugh Laurie, Stephen Fry, Graham Norton, Jack Dee, Rory Bremner and Frank Skinner (just to name a few) all started their careers in her clubs; and this could be your lucky start too...
and
Samantha Heard - acousmatic singer - Singer songwriter Samantha Heard is a classically trained pianist and self taught guitarist. Having just finished her first album ‘Headsketches’, a production collaboration between producers Robin Millar and John Reynolds, Sam has recently performed in Monaco and LA.
Prizes:
£100 and a magnum of champagne

open mike slot at the world famous jongleurs comedy club
or
a chance to appear at the international lock-out music club
