Open the doors of their charitable Advent Calendar online

You can now open the first door of the Advent Calendar online. Look for the number 1 under the revolving stars and click it to see today's picture - and every day up to the 24th.

This year, the 24 pictures have been created by children from St Michael's Junior Choir and Children's Church (in alternate years, they're painted by local artists).

The originals are in the beautiful Advent Calendar frame in the church.

This year's Christmas Appeal is in aid of three charities: HAY: Hounslow Action for Youth, the Upper Room and the LAMB education project in Bangladesh.

This is St Michael's seventh annual Advent Calendar & Christmas Appeal. The first was featured on the BBC News website in December 2002.
