Season starts with its first talk, by Cedric Cabanne
The Cercle Francais invites French speakers, Francophiles and students of all ages to come and listen to professionals speak on a variety of subjects.
The new season for 2016 starts on January 8th with a talk on L'Islam en France, l'Islam de France given by Cédric Cabanne, who has taught for many years in French schools and now lectures. His talk poses the question: "What is Islam in France ? How can a minority religion find its place in a secular democracy ?"
Meetings are held on the Fridays listed below at the Raphael Room, St Michael & All Angels Parish Hall near Turnham Green tube.
Come along at 6.30 and there'll be time for a glass of wine and a chat before the speaker begins at 7.00pm.
New members are always welcome.
