Serious accident outside Turnham Green Tube
Car mounts the pavement outside St. Michaels and All Angels Church
Last
night at around 10.45pm a car mounted the pavement and crashed into railings
on Bath Road outside St. Michael and All Angels Church.
The car appears to have been coming from the roundabout outside Turnham Green tube station and veered off the road just past the zebra crossing. Fortunately the car came to a halt 30 yards before the bus stop for the eastbound 94 and 237 services.
Although
the London Ambulance Service was quickly on the scene eye-witnesses report
that nobody was seriously hurt in the accident and that the occupant of
the car managed to walk away. The ambulance did take one person to hospital.
The car was
quickly removed and was no longer there the following morning.
