Out of all the banal responses delivered by Hollywood’s A List at the opening of this year’s Hollywood Film Festival, Kate Beckinsale’s deserved an Oscar for humility.

Chiswick born Kate announced that, “For me personally it's always easier at home. I always feel a little bit like the idiot from Chiswick who's got no business being here at all so it probably would be easier for me in London, I know I can get a cab afterwards," she said.
