The Chiswick House Dog Show is taking place this Sunday, (21 September), from 11:00am to 4:15pm.

The event will be held on the cricket pitch in the grounds of Chiswick House and Gardens, with no rain predicted for the day. Organised by local volunteers, the show is designed to bring together dog owners, residents, and visitors for a day of community engagement and fundraising.

This year’s theme is “The Great British Bark-Off,” which encourages participants to dress their dogs in costumes inspired by British baking and cultural references. The show will feature seventeen competition classes, including categories such as “Waggiest Tail,” “Best Groomed,” and “My Dog’s Got Talent.”

A panel of celebrity judges will oversee the contests, maintaining the event’s tradition of light-hearted and inclusive judging.

In addition to the competitions, the show will include a variety of stalls offering pet accessories, food, homeware, and refreshments.

Entry to the event is free, and dog owners are encouraged to register their pets in advance if they wish to participate in any of the classes.

All proceeds from the show will go to the Chiswick House and Gardens Trust, which is responsible for maintaining and improving the grounds for public use.

This site remains committed to providing local community news and public interest journalism.

Articles such as the one above are integral to what we do. We aim to feature as much as possible on local societies, charities based in the area, fundraising efforts by residents, community-based initiatives and even helping people find missing pets.
