Children at the William Hogarth Primary School are aiming to travel 8000 kilometres to raise funds for other children in Ethiopia.
The target represents the distance to Debre Birhan, the town where the school is that they are aiming to support.
They plan to collectively travel either by foot, bike, scooter or even swimming before Easter Sunday (4 April).
Each week the add up the distance they have covered and plot their progress our route.
All the money raised goes directly to funding a breakfast club for the most vulnerable children in the Ethiopian school, this will provide the children with a hot meal before they start school each day, for most of them it will be the only meal they get. This will enable them to stay in school and improve their ability to learn, the money raised will also go towards small loans for some of the mothers of these children to enable them to start up small businesses and in the long term support their children and families.
Children in Debre Birhan will benefit from William Hogarth School's efforts
