Michael Ellis charges arise out of investigation into abuse at St. Paul's School
A man from Chiswick has denied two counts of indecent assault on teenage boys in the 1970s and 1990s.
Michael Frederick Ellis, aged 69, of Bolton Road, Chiswick, pleaded guilty to making obscene material but continues to deny two counts of sexual assault, one in 1973 and one in 1992. The images he has admitted to possessing include some in the most extreme category.
The charges arise from the Operation Winthorpe investigation which is looking into historic sexual abuse of children and has made a series of arrests of former teachers at St. Paul's School in Barnes.
Ellis was charged with one count of indecent assault on a 14-year-old boy in 1973, one count of indecent assault on a 16-year-old boy in 1992 and four counts of making indecent images on or before 8 July 2014.
He was arrested in July 2014 on suspicion of sexual assault on a child.
