Chiswick's media village gets bigger

CBS, France Telecom and Fox Kids move to business park

Chiswick Business Park has announced three new companies will be taking space at the major office complex.

CBS News, the American broadcaster currently based in Bowater House, Knightsbridge has taken 22,000 sq ft in Building 10 for their European Broadcast Centre.

France Telecom R & D, the research and development division of the giant telecommunications group is to take 10,000 sq ft in Building 10 and Fox Kids, the leading pan-European integrated children’s entertainment company, will move its UK team into Building 12 with over 125 members of staff relocating to the Park.

The new occupiers will be in good company, joining Corinthian Television Facilities, Teletext, Disney Channel Scandinavia and Vue Cinemas who already operate out of the office development. The conglomeration of media companies will extend yet further early next year, when Discovery Networks Europe completes the move of its European Headquarters to Building 2.

Stanhope Director Henry Williams said: “Naturally we are delighted to welcome these three high profile media operators to Chiswick Park. This represents a significant milestone for the Park, and is affirmation of the continuing trend of companies in this sector making the move west from central London to Chiswick. We are becoming London’s new location for media companies and look forward to encouraging similar occupiers to the Park.”
