Volunteers engage in a number of environmental community efforts
Chiswick Business Park joined organisations from around the globe to celebrate Earth Day.
Now in its 39th year, Earth Day saw organisations and individuals from around the globe engage in all manner of environmental activities to create awareness of the Earth’s environment.
Over 200 volunteers participated in environmental efforts including tidying up the Thames path (right), weeding at Dukes Meadows (below) and tending to the gardens at Gunnersbury Park amongst others.
Around the world, the event is sponsored by many Global brands, who will all be encouraging businesses to sign up to participate in meaningful actions to give back to communities while restoring and renewing the Earth.
Kay Chaston, Chief Executive of Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work, said, "The environment and the future is very important to us here at Chiswick Park. We are striving as an organisation to work for a better future for those who will follow in our footsteps.
"Taking one day out of our busy working lives to give something back to the community and the environment is a small return for all we have taken in the past.”
