pladis, the global snacking company behind McVitie’s, GODIVA and Jacobs Cream Crackers, is expanding its UK and global headquarters at Chiswick Business Park, five years after relocating its leadership and central functions to West London. The company has agreed a lease for an additional 4,700 sq ft of ground‑floor space in Building 3, complementing its existing offices on the third floor. The new lease will run for around four and a half years, with pladis expected to take up the space in the final quarter of 2026.

The expansion marks the latest phase in pladis’ move to consolidate its operations in Chiswick. The company relocated its global headquarters from Hayes in 2021, ending a 21‑year presence in Middlesex and signalling a shift towards a more collaborative, hybrid‑working environment. The new space will be fitted out in stages.

Geraldine Fraser, chief human resources officer at pladis, said the additional space would help the company continue to evolve its working practices. “Chiswick Park is an important base for our UK and global teams, and this additional space will help us create a more flexible and collaborative working environment for colleagues. As we continue to evolve, we want our workspace to support how people work today – bringing teams together, enabling connection and helping colleagues do their best work.”

Founded in 2016, pladis now sells its products in more than 110 countries and employs more than 15,000 people worldwide. Its portfolio includes some of the UK’s best‑known household brands, among them McVitie’s, GODIVA, Ülker and Jacobs. Since moving to Chiswick, the company has also been active in supporting local community initiatives.
