A private collection of celebrity signed memorabilia has been generously donated for auction at Street Kids Rescue’s event.
Items of the collection include photos and albums signed by legendary stars such as Paul & Linda McCartney, Queen, Robbie Williams, Madonna, Tom Jones, Cher, ABBA, Ricky Hatton, Mike Tyson, Amir Khan, Schumacher, Hamilton, Giggs, Beckham and many more!
The event will also include an international cuisine buffet and free bar. Entertainment will be provided by professional musicians, an internationally renowned magician, professional Burmese dancers and well-known comedians.
There will be a live auction held by a Bonhams auctioneer and a raffle. All proceeds of the event will go to the charity; the entertainers are kindly performing free of charge, the items for the auction and raffle have been donated and the founder of the charity is covering all other costs.
Lots for the auction include:
• holiday in a luxury villa in Cyprus
• well-being course at Purus Active Health
• premium tickets for Glyndebourne Opera
• adults & kids go-karting vouchers
• professional photo-shoot
• spa day
The evening is in aid of a new centre for disabled children in Burma. There are thousands of disabled children living in constant pain and discomfort as there is no care available. Currently these children have no future prospects or hope of living independently - they are uncared for, their conditions deteriorate and they die prematurely. The centre will have specialist equipment and will provide the children with expert treatment from fully trained staff.
SKR supports orphaned, homeless and abandoned children in Southeast Asia. We provide food, education, medical care and accommodation to over 500 children in Burma, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos. Another 1,500 children receive help through feeding programmes, child protection, medical care and educational supplies. 100% of money donated is used to help the children.
