Move into Wellbeing dance and exercise group
Chiswick based charity Move intoWellbeing, which runs a well-regarded class for people with Parkinson's and other mobility restrictions, starting its new term.The session on Saturday 28th Jan is a free "Taster" session.
Move into Wellbeing provides bespoke dance and exercise classes for people with Parkinson's disease and other mobility restrictions. A number of the founders are people with Parkinson's or their carers.
Classes are devised and run by Ballet4Life.com,
using specially trained and experienced teachers. They consist of a series
of fun exercises to music with an emphasis on different muscle groups,
co-ordination, balance, flexibility, strength and use of voice. All exercises
can be performed seated and no previous experience of dance is necessary.

to part-funding by Southfield Ward, London Borough of Ealing, the fee

The Dance Studio is behind the church down a short path from Southfield
Road.
Ballet4Life's founder Donna Schoenherr was inspired by her father's plight
with Parkinson's Disease for over 25 years and the classes he took in
Colorado USA. His doctor was Dr. Gerald McIntosh and together with Ruth
Rice, they created a music and movement therapy class more than 20 years
ago.
