Careers Open Day 27th February 2019 – Teachers 24th April 2019 – Support staff

Oaklands is an excellent special school serving the London Borough of Hounslow that provides specialist education to students with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties and autism. We have a Primary school (New Oaks), Secondary school (High Oaks) and a specialist independent SEN College provision (Great Oaks). We can cater for students aged from 4 to 25 across the Oaklands group.

In September 2018 we relocated to our purpose built, state of the art building (close to Osterley tube station) and other public transport links). In time, New Oaks Primary will return to our Woodlands Road site once refurbishment is completed.

Due to our rapid and continued expansion we are now recruiting for September 2019 and have opportunities for anyone wishing to develop a career working with students with learning disabilities. We need lunchtime supervisors, learning support assistants, apprentice teaching assistants, teaching assistants and teachers.

We are holding Careers Open Days on 27th February for teachers and 24th April for all other roles . We will hold sessions at 11am and 2pm. We would love to meet anyone interested in developing a career in special education.
