The Little School Daycare wants to build flats above premises

A Brentford daycare centre hoping to build new flats above its premises is appealing a decision by Hounslow Council to reject its planning application.
The Little School at 42-43 Boston Park Road wanted to add six new flats as well as make other alterations to its premises. A previous scheme envisaged two extra storeys on the building with eight flats added.
It has now launched an appeal against the refusal of the latest proposal to the Secretary of State. Any comments to the appeal must be made by 10 May (APP/F5540/W/21/3286340).
The site is located on the northern side of Boston Park Road to the east of the junction with the Great West Road (A4) and Boston Manor Road. Boston Park Road runs parallel to Great West Road and is accessed from its junction with Windmill Road to the north east.
The applicant argued that the development at Churchill House of 74 new flats in a building that would be 8 storeys high would mean that any additional impact of its scheme would be limited.
