PCT seeks new Non-Executive Directors
The PCT is holding a special information session for people who are interested at the Thelma Golding Health Centre, 92 Bath Road, on Thursday 2 September (6-8pm).
A potential Non-Executive Director will need to demonstrate:
The Commission
would particularly welcome applications from candidates with strong financial
skills or experience at a senior level in a large private sector organisation.
Non-Executive Directors are paid £5,673 per annum and are expected
to devote a minimum of two and a half days per month to their role.
PCT Chair Christine Hay said:
"A Non-Executive Director's role is to hold the executive to account and contribute to the development of health strategies that ensure high quality services to patients. They are expected to make sure that the interests of patients remain paramount. Anyone who meets the criteria and can devote the time is welcome to apply. "
