Annual Wild Flower Walk for Charity in Syon Park |
Walk for Cancer Research on 13th May Join Cancer Research UK for a sponsored walk in the wonderful setting of Syon Park. You can start any time between 10.30am and 3pm, (last walkers start at 3pm). Take as long as you like to enjoy the house, the beautiful gardens and the picturesque Thames riverside, or time yourself round doing some ‘power walking’ - the choice is yours. Bring your friends and family, benefit from the exercise and raise money for a great cause at the same time! The Wild Flower Walk (previously known as The Bluebell Walk) has been an annual event since 1997, with a wonderful venue, thanks to the generosity of the Duke of Northumberland and regular walkers and new entrants are all welcomed. Tickets cost £10.50 for adults (available online ), concession £8, child (aged 5-16) £4, families (2 adults, 2 children) £22. Please contact Cancer Research UK to obtain the other ticket categories. The price includes entrance to Syon House. There is ample free parking available. Please note, you are welcome to bring buggys and pushchairs but parts of the route may not be suitable for wheelchairs.
