Jason Bowyer Celebrates Twenty Years

Working from studio at London Museum of Water and Steam

Jason Bowyer

Jason Bowyer is celebrating twenty years of working from his studio at the London Museum of Water and Steam. He has collaborated with the Museum during that time teaching, painting, organising drawing projects and art exhibitions.

"Flowers on the Anvil is a celebration of my time at the Museum. I love elemental locations and man made structures. Light that rakes through and across forms, asking questions about time, permanence and fragility. There is a constant considered figurative/abstract interplay. I create interiors, landscapes and still life. This is a desire to find the essence of my motif whether the subject is an industrial interior an old harbour or flowers on the anvil"

This special studio exhibition is open to the public 13th, 14th & 15th October 11am -5pm. There will be an opportunity to view the larger works on display in the Mezzanine Gallery above the Main Hall of the Steam Museum. These works can be viewed free of charge during Museum opening hours 11am - 4 pm by presenting a catalogue from Jason's Studio exhibition.
