Service of Remembrance at Brentford Library - POSTPONED

100th Anniversary of Start of World War One

The Parish of Brentford and the Royal British Legion Brentford invites you to join them for a service of remembrance to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War

The service will be now held on

Sunday 24th August 2014 at 11am

At The Garden of Remembrance Brentford Library.

This was postponed due to the adverse weather conditions on the 10th August.

The 4th of August 2014 marks the 100th anniversary of the day Britain entered one of the costliest conflicts in history – the First World War – with fighting continuing until the 11th of November 1918, Armistice Day.
