Johnson's Island Artists' Open Studios Christmas Exhibition

Painting, mosaics, sculpture, prints, cards and more to view

Find that perfect Christmas gift for one you love – or even for yourself!

Come and enjoy a mulled wine in our romantic setting beside the Grand Union Canal. Tiny Johnson’s Island is home to a thriving colony of artists and craftspeople with narrow boats and barges moored peacefully nearby. Painters, printmakers, sculptors and artisans will be showing their latest works in the Brentford Gallery and opening the doors to their studios.

Nestled beside the first lock linking the Thames to the Grand Union Canal, one passes the Brewery Tap on Catherine Wheel Rd before crossing the footbridge and entering another world. History, art and nature are woven together in this unique island setting, also admired by Samuel Pepys as he sailed past for an illicit assignation with a Brentford lady of the 1660s.

Johnson's Island Artists can be found on their website at http://www.johnsonsislandartists.com/ For further information please contact Sarah Stanley 07939 541 870 or sarah@johnsonsislandartists.com
