Catalytic Converter Thefts
Be on the lookout for suspicious activity
There has been an outbreak of theft from vehicles parked in secure yards off the High Street, particularly located in Catherine Wheel Road, Brent Way and The Ham.
Small Independent Traders, whose livelihood depend on their vehicles, are coming in to work to find that their yards have been broken into and catalytic converters stolen from their vans. It is thought that thieves are specifically targeting certain businesses as the thefts take place in very short time-frames.
Please be on the lookout for these thieves - during this period of regeneration Brentford needs the thriving small businesses in the community and it would be shameful if they were forced out of the area, or worse out of business, due to the actions of a minority.
If you see anything suspicious please report it to the Police immediately - your actions could lead to the suspects being detained.
