Man Dies in Albany Road House Fire

Fatal fire occurs midday on Sunday in block of flats

A man has died in a house fire in Albany Road, Brentford.

The fire happened in the ground floor of a three-storey block of flats around midday on Sunday.

Witnesses reported 'billowing smoke and clear flames' in the property.

The flat was sealed off by police and fire brigade officers in order to allow a full forensic examination.
