Brentford High Street was closed for over on Wednesday (30 September) due to a serious incident involving a pedestrian and a delivery van.

The road was shut from late morning reopening after 4pm, with witnesses reporting emergency services at the scene and a man being helped away with a bloody head wound. Traffic was diverted while police and paramedics attended.

The London Ambulance Service’s spokesperson said: “We sent an ambulance crew who treated a patient at the scene before taking him to a major trauma centre.”

The closure caused significant disruption to local traffic and bus routes, with congestion building along the A315 and surrounding roads.

Further details about the man’s condition have not yet been released.
