TfL has undertaken extensive consultation and engagement activities with members of the local community
Transport for London (TfL) has now submitted a planning application to Ealing Council for the redevelopment of land along the western side of Bollo Lane.
Over the past six months, TfL has undertaken extensive consultation and engagement activities with members of the local community:
Over 20,000 newsletters sent to the local community, inviting you to be involved in the development process
Two public exhibitions and three pop-up exhibitions, held at nearby tube stations.
70,000 local transport users contacted via email to promote the consultation events
Reviewed over 400 pieces of feedback received, either in writing or online via our website
We would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to engage, your feedback has played a valuable role in developing our final proposals that will:
Create new public space linking Acton and Chiswick, including green space and a pavement on the western side of Bollo Lane
Provide workspace and retail, meaning more shops and employment opportunities for local people
Deliver over 850 new homes to rent and buy in Acton, 50% of which will be affordable
As part of our commitment to ongoing engagement, we have created a video, which gives an overview of the proposals and our consultation activity to date. The video is available to view via our website: tfl.gov.uk/travel-information/improvements-and-projects/bollo-lane .
